Hawaii real estate - Nothing else like it in America. Part 29
I always say that there is nothing like Hawaii in America. Over the Christmas holiday I spent 10 days in Colorado and Montana, where it snowed several feet and the temperature was about 10degrees. My kids were so cold that they could only play outside for about 10 minutes at a time, even though they were wearing 4 layers, a hat, gloves, and snow boots.
Driving on the snow we got in a car accident going about 4 mph, because the road was so icy. People in those states deal with the weather every year, but I think they just don't realize that it could be different.
When we got back to Hawaii, the first thing my kids did is get the hose and have a water fight. It was 78 degrees when we got home, with a nice cool breeze as usual. We put on our shorts and t-shirts and went outside.
This is life in Hawaii. Everyday, every year, we are warm. There is no season when you can't play outside or go to the beach, or go on a hike, or go swimming or surfing or kayaking. Everyday is wonderful, because it's Hawaii.
It's Hawaii, it's wonderful, and if you don't get your piece of this rock soon, it's going to be too expensive for you...
