Napali Haweo is the new Hawaii Loa Ridge. In the
early 80's, Hawaii Loa Ridge was the upscale community known for
gorgeous ocean views and custom built mini mansions. But these days the
homes in Hawaii Loa Ridge are starting to look older and in need of
remodeling. Meanwhile, just a few miles down the road, Na Pali
Haweo sits above Hawaii Kai with grand ocean views and newer
homes.
At one point in time, Hawaii Loa Ridge was the place to be. Home to
executives and the rich and famous, this gated hillside community was
long considered one of the best neighborhoods in East Oahu. But now,
Napali Haweo, called "the cliffs of distinction" is a neighborhood of
large new homes with ocean views, luxurious pools and estate like
properties.
Granted, if you can spend $3million, you might find an updated
mansion on Hawaii Loa Ridge, but for under $2million, Napali Haweo is a
wonderful option. It's close to Hawaii Kai town center, has great views
of both the Mauna Lua bay and Koko head crater, and everything is new!
