Makaha Beachfront Homes
Makaha beachfront homes and waterfront properties in Waianae and Maili are reasonably priced due in large part to their lengthy commute to Honolulu Town. It's a long drive to town, and the traffic can be pretty bad. On the plus side, the beaches in this area are huge, and are great for surfing and sun bathing.
Because real estate prices in this area are cheaper than on other parts of the island, some people don't keep their homes in the best condition. However, there is a beautiful golf course community towards the top of Makaha Valley that features custom homes. There you can buy an acre of land with a large, beautiful house for about $1.5 million.
If you want a house in the country on a big lot, you should definitely check out the Makaha real estate real market. There are also brand new homes available in Maili, a neighborhood that is just being completed.
