The Moorings Townhouses

There are beautifully renovated townhouses at the Moorings for about $650k, with most units about 1300 sq. ft in size. The Moorings townhouses are not large, but they're big enough for a few people to enjoy the marina and a boat.

The Moorings aren't much to look at from the outside, with a lot of brown and beige paint and wood shingled roofs that need to be changed to something more modern. There is a small swimming pool and a clubhouse for residents to enjoy, but not much guest parking here. Buyers need to be careful as well because some of the Moorings homes face Kal Highway, which can be quite noisy.

What I like about the Moorings townhouses is the fact that they were built a little wider than other condo developments in Hawaii Kai such as Koko Isle and Kaimala Marina, which feel a little like a bowling alley. If you can get a renovated, larger marina front townhome at the Moorings, you'll be set.
