Melia launched alongside 'Ilima in September 2025 and was 52% pre-sold at that time, per Howard Hughes. By June 2026 the two towers together were reported about 60% pre-sold and still in planning and permitting. Melia is the more accessible of the pair: more homes, a full amenity program of its own, the same architecture team and the same botanical-garden setting.
Why buyers pick Melia over 'Ilima
Two reasons come up. First, entry price: Melia has more homes and more sizes, so it reaches buyers who don't need an estate-scale residence. Second, club preference: 'Ilima comes with Mohala; Melia doesn't. Some buyers want the club, some would rather not carry the dues.

When will Melia be built?
As of mid-2026 it was still in planning and permitting. I'd expect a multi-year build once it starts; I'll update you when construction dates are firm.
Is Melia part of the Mohala club?
No. Mohala is at 'Ilima only. Melia residents have their own amenity program.
How is Melia priced?
Not publicly. Expect it to sit well above Mahana and The Launiu. I can get the current sheet.
